Cometa unites Luciana Souza and Trio Corrente - Brazil’s foremost Jazz musicians - in a celebration of old sambas and original music by each of the four musicians. Recorded in São Paulo during the first days of 2023, Cometa celebrates the return to a more Democratic Brazil after four years of a cruel and tyrannic presidency. Cometa has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Latin Jazz Album category.
